EA Sports FC 25 is bringing in some changes to its most popular game mode, Football Ultimate Team to refresh the way we play the game.
Let's take a look at the Top 5 changes coming to Ultimate Team in EA Sports FC 25:
1. Evolutions Revamped
Evolutions have been the most popular addition to Ultimate Team in FC 24. Taking it further and hearing community feedback, there are some changes coming to make them even better in FC 25.
With Evolutions in FC 25 will be more flexible entry requirements so we can evolve our favourite players more often.
There can be maximum limits on certain attributes in an evo. Players who meet or exceed that limit can still have the other attributes upgraded as long as they meet the requirements leading to a Partial Evolution.
There will also be Cosmetic Changes for evos, unlocked like all other evolutions in the evolutions tab.
You will be able to change the colours, add animations and add sound effects to your player items, just bear in mind each new one will replace the old customization.
2. Rush in Ultimate Team
EA Sports FC 25's new 5v5 game mode Rush will be fully integrated into Ultimate Team, with rewards being given out to make your team even better.
You will be able to play with three friends and an AI Goalkeeper, using players from a select pool within your club based on the Rush Event you choose.
There will be Weekly Rush Objectives where you can earn rewards by collecting Rush Points in every game.

3. Formation and Position Changes
With FC IQ Formations and Positions are getting some changes, with some removals and adjustments.
The CF and LWB/RWB positions have been removed.
Adjusted Formations:
- 4-3-2-1: (2 CF replaced by 2 CAM)
- 5-3-2: (LWB/RWB replaced by LB/RB)
- 5-2-3: (LWB/RWB replaced by LB/RB)
- 5-2-1-2: (LWB/RWB replaced by LB/RB)
- 3-4-2-1: (2 CF replaced by 2 CAM)
Removed Formations:
- 4-4-1-1(Other variations are available)
- 4-3-3 (5)
- 5-2-2-1

4. Division Rivals Improved
Changes have been made to make Division Rivals to make it the home of competitive play in FC 25.
The Weekly Rewards system have been changed to use a points system instead of wins, so your draws will have an impact on your new, streamlined rewards.
Checkpoints have been reduced so you don't get stuck in a division that is beyond your skill level. In order to facilitate that Relegations from divisions have been brought back in the higher divisions.
Legacy Division Placement will allow players who played FC 24 to place in the starting divisions in FC 25 based on your highest division in FC 24.

5. Duplicate Storage
One of the biggest quality-of-life changes coming to FC 25 is the ability to store your Untradeable Duplicate players in a storage space that you can then use later in SBCs.
You will be able to store up to One Hundred untradeable players in the SBC storage, ready to be called back to complete SBCs from the SBC tab or even the companion or webapp.
