If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 26 before August 26th you receive a Pre-Order Icon player in EA Sports FC 26.

The player will be from a selection of 15 Icons that will get their own unique design with a possible upgrade in the future but despite the rumours it does NOT look like it will be a Player Pick.

Which version should I buy?

The Ultimate Edition pre-order offers more bonuses compared to previous years, especially for Ultimate Team.

Not only do you get a Pre-Order Icon player in FC 26, you also get the Season 1 Premium Pass unlocked for FC 26 as well as an Icon Player Pick and a 99 Shooting Evo in FC 25.

With 6000 FC Points and 7 extra days to play the game, if you are a hardcore Ultimate Team player the Ultimate Edition is more than worth the price.

If you are a casual player and don't plan on playing the game competitively throughout the year then the Standard Edition might be the way to go. You get some nice bounses and will be able to enjoy the new game especially in offline modes such as Career Mode even better.
